PM Singh rejects India, NKorea nuclear comparisons

You can not equate North Korea Nuke test with one India carried out in 1998. India carried out the test to deter the external threat she was facing that time and even now India are facing external threat. North Korea carried out her first Nuke test not to deter external threats but to use as insurance against US attempt to carry out any regime change plan. When Bill Clinton was the President North Korea did agreed to give up her plan for nuclear program if US lift all sanctions, engaged in direct talk with North Korea and provide security. Now North Korea has joined the club of nuclear tech, US must engaged North Korea in direct talks, give them assurance about stability in region, else no one can guarantee that North Korea nuclear program wont fall into the hands of terrorist organization. North Korea program is based on Pakistan nuclear tech model, so main culprit is Pakistan. North Korea only aim at the moment is to black mail US and its allies to give insurance of North Korea stability provide economic assistance and support Kim Jong-Il’s dictatorial regime. This sort of strategy did worked out in past and in recent time we can see it is working out in the case of Pakistan. So now its peak time for us is to try and engage North Korea in talks and make the region safer and stop the race of acquiring Nuke programs.

LONDON (AFP) – Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has condemned

North Korea’s nuclear test and rejected any comparison between the blast and India’s decision to go nuclear in 1998. The Indian leader made the comments Tuesday after talks in London with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who stressed the need to re-start the six-party talks on North Korea’s nuclear ambitions, despite Monday’s test by the Stalinist state.

“A further erosion of the non-profileration regime is not in our interest. We do not support the emergence of another nuclear weapons state,” said Singh in a joint news conference.

He said that Pyongyang’s nuclear test could not be compared to India’s decision to go nuclear, when it undertook a series of tit-for-tat tests with long-term foe Pakistan.

The British Airports Authority said a package was being investigated and advised all travelers to check with their airlines before traveling to the airport. The airport’s bomb squad was called to the area, police said.

The incident came two months after police thwarted an alleged plot to blow up airlines traveling between Britain and the United States.

Suspect in terror hunt used veil to evade arrest

Now who says Jack Straw was wrong?

A MALE suspect in a major anti-terrorist investigation in Britain escaped capture by allegedly disguising himself as a Muslim woman dressed in a burka, The Times can reveal.

The man, who was wanted in connection with serious terrorist offences, evaded arrest for several days as police searched for him across the country.

The fact that a fugitive remained at large after disguising himself in an Islamic dress which covered his face will further fuel the debate sparked by Jack Straw, Leader of the House of Commons, about the wearing of the veil.

Details of the man’s true identity were circulated to ports and airports to try to prevent him leaving the country.

He was eventually caught and is now one of more than 90 suspects in British prisons awaiting trial on terror charges.

In India, ban on child labor to be tightened

Good News, but this peace of law in my opinion is not going to very effective, unless government and social agencies try to find the real cause (illiteracy, our population and of course poverty)of child labour, how we can secure child rights for every children’s and how we all can eliminate the cause of child labour. I just hope and pray that this law will work out, so that beautiful India can get rid of this child labour curse. Child labour is a curse for society and every citizen should help the government abolish this curse form society for ever.

NEW DELHI A tighter ban on child labor in India was to come into force Tuesday prohibiting employers from hiring children to work in their homes as maids, or in restaurants and hotels as low-paid waiters.

There was some confusion about how the amendment to current legislation would be enforced, with critics pointing out that the existing legislation is already poorly adhered to. Official figures suggest that there are at least 12 million children working in India, although activists say the real figure is closer to 60 million.

The government announced the amendment to the Child Labor Prohibition and Regulation Act – which bans the employment of children under 14 in “hazardous” jobs – earlier this year, extending the definition of what constitutes hazardous to include domestic workers and workers in hotels, restaurants and roadside cafés. Anyone found breaking the law faces a maximum punishment one year’s imprisonment and a 20,000 rupee, or $425, fine.

Actress Caught By Police For Nudity

Oops, again by some Bollywood actress, I guess it become fashion now a days to do controversial things just to get some publicity. Some one has rightly said “If you want to be famous, you have to be controversial”.

Actress Sherlyn Chopra a.k.a Maneka Chopra a.k.a Mona Chopra….Gosh this lady has far too many names to her credit…I think she is proving Shakespeare right…’What’s in a name?’ Hope her confusing names don’t make people forget her soon-enough. Well, the story is that the actress of inconsequential movies was arrested by the Police in Alibaug for doing a bikini photo-session on the beach without permission.
