Outrage at ’sleep with my wife, take my kids’ remarks on video

A spoof video of David Cameron which invited voters to sleep with the Tory leader’s wife and take away his children was posted on the internet yesterday by a Labour MP.

Conservative MPs were outraged but Mr Cameron remained relaxed, claiming the spoof had boosted interest in his genuine “WebCameron” site.

 

 

“Yo. My name’s Dave, yeah? Thing is, I’m just like you. I’ve got the same worries, the same troubles, the same cares, the same trouble and strife.

“Want to sleep with my wife? That’s cool. Come down, check it out, we’ll sort it out. Safe.

“I’ve got two kids - kid one, kid two. You like them? Take one - that’s cool.”

The video, just over a minute long, appears on the website YouTube and was filmed with the help of a fellow Labour MP, Tom Watson, who posted a more traditional attack on Mr Cameron.
