A 25-year-old woman has been charged by Greater Manchester police (GMP) with two counts of entering into funding arrangements for the purposes of terrorism. Mehreen Haji, of Elmfield Street, Cheetham Hill, is accused of making more than £4,000 available for Habib Ahmed, 26, between May 11th and 12th of this year. Mr Habib has already been charged with two offences under the Terrorism Act 2000, namely that he kept electronic records of potential terror targets and other information that could be useful for people preparing to commit acts of terrorism, as well as attending a terror training camp in Pakistan.
