India Shining!!

Carson Sasser came up with a nice links that talk about “Indian Shining Economy”. Thank you Carson for bringing this to my attention. Recently published report by Government of India says that India’s industrial production rose 11.4 percent in September, boosting growth for the first half of the fiscal year to 10.9 percent. Very nice to hear that Indian economy is growing fast and India Shining Brighter then ever expected. But question is how to improve the life of people who below the poverty line? Major challenges Ahead due to Crime Corruptions and AIDS..AIDS is taken very lightly by Government and it is going to be big challenge to our economy.

India Industrial Output Rises in Sept

NEW DELHI (AP) — India’s industrial production rose 11.4 percent in September, boosting growth for the first half of the fiscal year to 10.9 percent, the government said Friday in a report that indicated momentum is building in the economy.

India has averaged 8.1 percent annual economic growth over the past three years, making it one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.

The growth in industrial production in September came amid sustained domestic demand and a surge in exports, despite rising oil prices that added to inflation and prompted banks to raise interest rates.

Among industries, manufacturing output grew 12 percent in September compared with 8.9 percent in the same month a year ago. Mining production expanded 3.9 percent in September from last year, while electricity generation was up 11.4 percent.

Accused rapist to be slapped in public in northern India

Uttar Pradesh police have become the laughing-stock of the world. For me, the reputation of the Uttar Pradesh police touched its lowest point.

LUCKNOW, India (AP) — A man in northern India will be fined 100 dollars and slapped 51 times in public for raping a woman who is deaf and mute.

A village court of elders stepped into the case after they said local police did not follow up on the complaint filed by the victim’s husband.

The village chief says the fine and slapping are an attempt to “put the man to shame,” but that’s as far as a village court is allowed to go.

Police are still investigating the woman’s complaint, a difficult task, because the mother of three can only communicate through hand signals.

If the case is taken to state criminal court, and the man is convicted, he could get the death penalty.

More Britons are turning to terror, says MI5 director

Wake Up Call? It’s sad to hear that more and more young British Muslims turning their head towards terrorism and feeling honoured in killing their own innocents countryman. At this point what we need is proper debate about this issue, government should do bit more to help these young Muslims to understand how our policies works. We should bring some really intellectual and scholars who understand a lot more about Holy Quran ( not the one who comes in Sharia TV, they bloody don’t agree with each other statements) to tell these people, what Quran says, and help the government to let these people know about UK governments policies and issues.

More Britons are turning to terror, says MI5 director

1,600 suspects under surveillance,  30 plots to kill, maim, damage, 200 terror groups or networks

Hundreds of young British Muslims are being radicalised, groomed and set on a path to mass murder, the head of MI5 said yesterday. In a stark public warning, Dame Eliza ManninghamBuller, the Director-General of MI5, revealed that the Security Service’s caseload had risen by 80 per cent since January and now involved about 30 “Priority 1” plots.

It has identified 200 terrorist networks involving at least 1,600 people, many under the direct control of al-Qaeda leaders in Pakistan.

“More and more people are moving from passive sympathy towards active terrorism through being radicalised or indoctrinated by friends, families, in organised training events here and overseas,” she said. “Young teenagers are being groomed to be suicide bombers.”

Son kills ‘sex maniac’ dad, maid

Sex obviously seems to be a major cause of the crime in India now a days !!!

In a shocking case of sex and sleaze uncovered in Lucknow, a sub-inspector’s son has been arrested for killing his own father Roop Narain Dewedi and his young maid Kiran.

It is learnt that the murdered police officer was a sex maniac. He needed a new woman every week. Lust, passion, criminal links and alcohol ultimately proved to be too costly for the slain sub-inspector. He also had sexual liaison with Kiran (the maid).

Four people including son of the cop have been arrested in this connection. Sex obviously seems to be a major cause of the crime. The Krishna Nagar police have arrested Kuku Dubey, Sabir Ali, Robin Sonkar and Raju Gupta. Interestingly Kuku is contesting for the post of corporator and had been visiting Roop Narain Dewedi’s house for orgies.

‘I’ve failed in love’

But question is why you have failed? Misunderstanding? Too Passiveness? Jealousy? Cheating?

‘My loneliness doesn’t let me down’

I can’t trust people anymore

No love marriage for me

After going through a series of ugly break-ups (Bill Cusack, Sean Teague), Celina Jaitley has changed her opinion on love. And the ‘bikini babe’ also seems bitter as she says “I can’t trust people anymore.” Read on for complete details.

You have had bitter experiences of falling in and out of love. What is it that you have learnt?

I have learnt several lessons after I failed in love – not just one or two. My failure in love has helped me grow as a prudent person. Now, I can’t trust people anymore, especially just on their face values. I have had both sweet and sour memories but the best part is that love has made me a mature person. I think from my head and not from heart because I know thinking from heart gives emotional blows.

Speaking to US financial news service Bloomberg the F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone said India will join the Formula One calendar in 2010. He also confirmed that he is in negotiation with unidentified state government in India to complete the deal so that work on building circuits start soon. So good news, for Indian Formula 1 supporter.

“India is a country that is probably going to grow quicker than China,” Ecclestone told Bloomberg. “We had to make sure we found the right place in India and we have.”

Ecclestone furthermore admitted that there is no return possible for a Formula 1 race at Imola. “It’s bye-bye to San Marino,” Ecclestone said.
